Stuff to Scrap is starting up this really cool thing called {My Life}. Basically, it's there to help you get help through the year and hopefully get photos and memories of your daily life scrapped instead of just important moments and occasions. And you get a digiscrap friend to help motivate you too. (Click on the flyer below for more information.)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas all!

Thank you for all your comments and holiday wishes. I appreciate each and every one of them. Each comment makes me smile and warms my heart a bit. For various reasons, this past year has been a tough one, but knowing that others care has made it easier. I love being a member of the digiscrap community, sharing my designs with you, seeing what you create with them, and helping you preserve your memories.

I created a couple of pieces of Merry Christmas word art for you in red & green glitter.

Have a very Merry Christmas!

Celebration alphas

Another quick post, I have to wrap the last of my presents, clean up the dining room, set the table for dinner, etc.

I couldn't decide between doing a gold alpha or a silver alpha, so I created both. I used the Pharmacy font for the alpha.

Don't forget to head over to Jewel's blog to pick up her alpha. Leave her some love!

I'll see you tomorrow with a special Christmas add-on.

Patterned celebration papers

Hello again! Are you ready for Christmas? I'm not! I still have two large-scale scrap projects to work on--yikes! I know I'll finish one before Christmas Eve; the other might wind up being a New Year's present. Since it's a calendar, that's OK, right? :)

My CT did such a great job with this kit. I've got a couple more layouts to share. Aren't they fantastic?

Countdown to Christmas

The Countdown to Christmas continues! I've been super, super busy this month with holiday happenings, getting ready for Christmas (I'm making not one, but two large-scale scrap projects for others) and haven't had as much time to design as I'd like. However, I was able to participate in the Countdown to Christmas blog train with the other STS designers.

I've had a thing for worn papers lately, so I created a set of those for you to coordinate with all the other goodies you've picked up (and will pick up) this month. Because the files are in .png format and rather large in size, I had to break them up into two downloads--be sure you pick up both parts. The papers will remain free until December 31st.
Download has expired.
Enjoy!

Homespun Christmas goodies

Homespun Christmas has been moved to the store. However, my CT and I have a few more goodies for you: a QP, candy wrapper, and gift tags.

If you want to see what you can create with the kit in terms of pages, check out these two great layouts by Michele. Isn't her son adorable?
Ginger has created a QP and a candy wrapper for you. You can pick them up on her blog.
Juli created some supercute gift tags for you. They'll be available on her blog soon.
And Beth created some cute gift tags for you, too. She's got a ton of stuff going on these days, so I took care of her preview and download for you.

Bringing you a smile

As a kid, I loved the Muppets. My brother and I would watch the show every Saturday night. When I was a tween/teen, one of the movies that I thought was hilarious was Wayne's World. The two have been brought together in a new video on YouTube featuring the Muppets singing Bohemian Rhapsody. I know it's not digiscrap goodness, but it was too funny not to share. Enjoy!

New kit: Cheer

The holiday season is one of my favorite times of year. I love the holiday spirit and festivities. And I love all the cute holiday kits that are out there. I found a cute palette and started designing a holiday kit.

Then, I lost my mojo.

Fortunately, Kim B. came to the rescue with her color palette for the DSO December Colour Challenge. I thought about making a holiday kit with it and ultimately decided that there are so many holiday kits out there right now I'd put something totally non-holiday out there instead. Once I made that decision, the kit came together very quickly. I just gave it to my CT late last night, so I don't have their layouts for you. I did create some cute--and FREE--QPs for you.

The kit, called Cheer, is available now in the store at Stuff to Scrap.

Here's a full preview of the kit (images are linked to the store).

Updated links

I've received comments and e-mails from a few people who were having trouble downloading the my portions of the Homespun Christmas and Holiday Sugar Cookie blog trains from FileSavr. I've uploaded both to 4shared in the hopes that it alleviates some of the problems you've been experiencing. I've had some problems with 4shared in the past, but having used--and been dissatisfied with other services--it seems like the best option at this time.

Please let me know if you have any problems getting the downloads and I'll do my best to get them fixed. :)

Love to Bake

'Tis the season for baking. And this month, the Stuff to Scrap designers have come together to create a HUGE baking-themed kit for you called Love to Bake. There are 82 papers, 174 elements, 2 full alphas, and five glitter styles. There are soooooooooo many cute things in this kit--gingerbread men and women, snowmen, baking goods (rolling pins, spatulas, mixing bowls, chef's hats, stoves, etc.).

Check out the previews (images are linked to the store). Not all elements are shown in the preview.

We also created recipes cards for you. There are 20 blank cards AND 19 recipe cards that include our favorite recipes, including things like Artichoke Dip (my contribution), Slow Cooker Orange Chicken, Pound Cake, Cinnamon Buns, and Walnut Divinity just to name a few.
Head on over to the store to pick up the kit and the recipe cards!

Holiday Sugar Cookie blog train

(If you're looking for my portion of the Homespun Christmas blog train, scroll down a bit.)

For some time now, I've enjoyed the bi-monthly mega blog train that includes 100 designers. I've finally been able to get in on one of the collabs, Holiday Sugar Cookie. The cool thing is that each designer only creates 2-3 papers and 3-4 embellishments, so you get a taste of each designers' stuff.

Here's a preview of my mini-kit:

Your next stop on the blog train is GraphicsByLiz.

If you get lost along the way, you can go to the blog train headquarters.
