Arial Glass alpha and a question

Before I get to the freebie alpha, I have a quick questions to ask. I'm mulling over the idea of doing a free monthly mini-kit to help people with their daily, weekly, or monthly scrapping goals. I know a number of people do P365/Project 52 or something similar. Are you interested? Let me know in the comments section below, or send me an e-mail (shelbellescraps {at} gmail {dot} com) if you're interested and what sorts of things you'd like to see such kits include.

Now to the alpha...

One of the nice things about being a designer is that if I'm looking for something particular to use in a layout and I can't find it, I can create it! I was working on a layout for a calendar project. I needed something in an easy-to-read typeface and neutral. I chose Arial Rounded MT Bold fort he typeface and created a glass alpha.

After I was all done, I thought: Why not share it? You can never have too many versatile alphas, right?

The alpha includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, punctuation, and some international symbols. The .zip files includes each letter/number individually, as well as in contact sheet form for those who prefer their alphas that way.
Download has expired.

Don't forget to answer the question asked above about the possibility of free monthly mini-kits!

First off, thank you for the great alpha. I'd love versatile kits and I'm hoping to do a P365 (or more like P52) album for 2011. As a mom of two boys, I vote for lots of color and some basic non-flower elements. :-)

Thank you for the alpha! It is wonderful!!! I too think versatile kits would be great! I love when they include things like staples, ribbons, a few pattern and solid papers, and since I have two girls I do like flowers...

Thank you for the fabulous alpha!
As for your question, I would love a kit geared for P365. I started this in July & plan on continuing :)
Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us!

Thank you for encouraging us with giving your followrs a mini. I just started digital scrap booking, this year I tried to take pictures everyday (should have put notes on them!), I really want to start doing a P365, P52, or even a P12 but in the end I just did the holidays. My girl (3yrs) is in nursey school and we have to write and place pictures in her journal every week. It's pretty cool! My boy (just turned 2yrs) will start the same school next year, I have will have to get more specific things for each child. I would love to see lots of energetic colors (I'm not a girly girl even though my girl love dresses and the pretty stuff). I like the basics to.

Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the alpha--I love it!

Mini kits with neutrals and then a variety of colors and elements that can be versatile (not theme specific) would be awesome in monthly minis.

What a cool alpha! Thanks so much for taking the time to share it with us! I love distressed looking stuff. I have boys too, and you can use most colors for girls, but somehow, the girly stuff just doesn't work for boys.

Would love monthly themed kits. By themed I mean elements and papers appropriate for the time of year if possible. I know it is winter in different parts of the world at different times so that makes it a little hard.

I would like date and number elements as well as monthly titles. A template for a layout or two would be nice. If I were to do an album of 2 or three pages for each month I would like some consistency between the pages. Perhaps a different color for each month. I prefer soft colors for papers with perhaps some brighter colors for the elements.

Just some thoughts! LOL Whatever you come up with I know I will appreciate.

Thanks for sharing. Am always excited to try a glass alpha as some don't turn out that well on my scrapbook program. Love the look of this one. Will think about your question.

Thanks for the great alpha!

I agree with others. I am hoping to do P52 or something similiar for 2011. I would love neutrals/generic/lots of basic embellishments - perfect for boy layouts.

Awesome alpha, lovely just like it is and can be colored to match any kit, thanks very much for this. Would love a new kit each month as it sure helps to have variety when you scrap. If you are looking for ideas, a girls soccer kit would be ideal for me as I have 2 of them and only find soccer for boys.
