Hey Mr. Groundhog

It's time once again for a blog train from Stuff to Scrap members. This month's blog train is "Hey Mr. Ground hog." Life is incredibly busy for me right now, so I was only able to get papers designed for you. But I've seen the stuff that other designs have created and you will not have a shortage of elements to go with it.

And here is the list of the rest of the designers taking part in this month's blog train. If a particular designer doesn't have her portion listed, please check back. We're spread all across the globe. Also, be sure to snag stuff by the 15th. After that date, designers are free to put their portion in their store(s). My portion of the kit will remain free the entire month of February.

Frosty, part IV

Where did January go? I cannot believe how fast this month went. Hard to believe it's already time to give you part four of this month's monochromatic kit, Frosty.

Some big things coming up this week at Shel Belle Scraps. First, I will be back tonight with my portion of the February Stuff to Scrap blog train, Hey Mr. Groundhog. Later this week, I will give you a second set of 12x12 QPs from Sandy as well as a sneak peek at February's monochromatic kit, Love Ya. Finally, check back tomorrow as I'll be posting a few different color palettes to get your votes on what palette you'd like me to use in March's monochromatic kit.

Don't want to miss anything? Become a follower. Click on the "follow" button along the left-hand side of the page and you'll get notified every time a new post is made.

Back to Frosty. Ginger has a QP for you available. Head over to her blog to snag it and leave some love when you do.
And here is the final portion of the kit. You get 3 papers, 7 elements, and the uppercase portion of the alpha. Be sure you snag it by next Sunday as then it will be gone and only available in the store.

See you tonight with my portion of the Hey Mr. Groundhog blog train and later in the week with more goodies for you. Have a great day and happy scrapping!

Frosty, part III

Today is a HUGE day around here. Why? Because my beloved Vikings are playing in the NFC Championship game tonight against the New Orleans Saints. I remember all too well the painful disappointment of the 1998 Vikings season. I'm hoping that today's game doesn't wind up the same way!

Michele created another great layout using Frosty. Love the journaling!

Ginger has turned her layout into a QP for you. Click on the image below to be taken to her blog where you can pick up her QP.
And here is this week's portion of the kit. You get three papers, seven elements, and the symbols portion of the alpha.

Frosty, part II

Wow! You really seem to like the monochromatic kit idea. I'm glad to hear that because I was a little nervous about the concept. I'm already hard at work on February's kit. I'll give you more details as we get closer to February.

I've got a few more CT layouts to share with you. (I'll have some more next week, too.) I love what they created. They are so talented!
And here is this week's portion of Frosty. This week you get three papers, a page border, six elements, and the numbers portion of the alpha. Make sure you grab it by next Sunday because then it will be gone!

See you later this week with some Shel Belle Scraps contest news. Have a great day, happy scrapping, and Go Vikings!

Frosty

When I was thinking about some of the design things I wanted to do in the new year, I kept coming back to the idea of doing a monochromatic kit each month and releasing it in parts. I thought it would be a good challenge to design in basically one color. This month, you're getting a kit called Frosty with a palette of ice blues.

I didn't give my CT much time to work on this, but they knocked it out of the park. Check out their great layouts:
With all the snow we've gotten here in Minnesota lately, I just had to do layout making fun of our nickname, Minne"snow"ta. I used Vicki's Template #9 for my layout.
And here's the first part of the kit. Today you get three papers, eight elements, and the lowercase portion of the alpha. Make sure you grab it by next Sunday because then it will be gone!

Build a Kit: Welcome to Winter

Happy New Year!

Yesterday I hinted at some exciting things coming your way in 2010. One of the new things I'm participating in is the monthly Build a Kit collaboration the Stuff to Scrap designers are creating. It's optional, so not all designers are participating, but many of them are. The idea is that the designers will create whatever they want (word art, styles, paper packs, element packs, alphas, etc.) and you can pick and choose what you'd like. Since we're all using the same color palette, all the offerings coordinate with one another perfectly.

I loved the color palette this month. When I saw it, it immediately made me think of cozy winter nights. I created a paper pack of 10 papers (5 solid, 5 patterned) and an element pack of 17 elements (including bows, buttons, flowers, journal spots & tags, snowflake border, heart, frame, stitches, and others).

Here's what you can get in my packs. Click on the images to be taken to the store.

You Color My World

Happy New Year!

The Stuff to Scrap designers have come together this month to create a art-filled mega kit, You Color My World. The kit is a really versatile one that could be used to scrap all sorts of pictures. Check out the previews below and click on the images to be taken to the store.

We also created some QPs for you. Click on the image to be taken to the store.
