Buttercup, Part IV

It's hard to believe March is almost over! Where does the time go? It's definitely feeling like spring around here--temps in the 60s and we're supposed to hi the 70s this week. I need to dig out my sandals--and get myself a pedicure, stat! :)

This also means it's the last week of March's kit, Buttercup. I'm so glad I chose yellow. From your comments, there aren't enough kits featuring yellow in them. If you've created anything with this kit, please post your layout in the Stuff to Scrap gallery.

I've got some more eye candy for you with this kit. Kimmy created a beautiful layout showing off her cutie patooties with their grandparents.
Ginger has a QP for you based on one of her layouts. Be sure to leave her some love when you download.
And here is the final portion of this month's kit. Today you get three papers, seven elements, and the symbols/punctuation portion of the alpha. Be sure you snag this by next Sunday because after that it will no longer be available except in the store!

Spring Fun QPs

Happy Thursday to you! Are you as ready for the weekend as I am? I'm really looking forward to relaxing a bit. It's been a c-r-a-z-y week!

Thanks again for all the great comments you left about Spring Fun. I'm so glad you liked it. If you've done a layout (or two or three...), let me know. I'd love to see it. I'm always amazed by what people have created.

With the addition of new CT members, I've made some changes in requirements. One of the changes was that CT members create either two layouts or one layout and one QP. Usually, the QPs will go directly into the store, but for this kit, we're going to give you a chance to snag the QPs free for a couple of days. Be sure you grab them quickly--they'll be gone by Saturday and will then only be available in the store.

Becky's CT also has some QPs available for you. Visit her blog where she will have them all linked.

Without any further ado, here are the QPs from my CT. The images are linked; don't forget to leave some love!
I created two QPs; one is made only of stuff from my portion of the collab, the other is made from stuff only from Becky's portion of the collab. I've put them in one zip file to make things easier for you.

Have a great day and happy scrapping!

Spring fun alphas

Thanks for all the great comments about this kit. It's always nice to hear that people like what you've created. And I'd love to see what you've created with this kit!

I've got more eye candy for you. Some more layouts by my CT and me.
And here is the preview of what you get today. Not one, not two, but THREE (yes, three) alphas. I couldn't decide what color to do for the alpha, so I decided to do it in three colors: the bright green, bright blue, and hot pink. The font I used is called "Too Much Paper!" and can be found here. Grab 'em quick! They'll only be available for 24 hours!

Becky also has a great alpha available for you on her blog. Click on the image to be taken to her blog.
I'll see you tomorrow with QPs for this kit!

Spring Fun elements

To paraphrase Sally Field, "You like it. You really, really like it."

Thank you all for your wonderful comments about the Spring Fun papers. Yesterday was a bummer day around here. No particular reason, just one of those days. So far, today seems to be going better. Let's hope that continues!

I've got some more visual inspiration for you in the form of layouts. Some include only my stuff, some only Becky's, some both. There's even a layout by me and one by Becky (SAHM Scrapper) in the mix today!
And here is today's portion of the kit, the elements. Remember that the download will only be available for 24 hours. Tomorrow at noon (Central Time), the alphas will become available.
Download has expired.

Don't forget to head over to Becky's blog to pick up her portion of the kit. (Image is linked.)
Come back tomorrow for the alphas. Have a great day and happy scrapping!

Spring Fun collab is here!

I'm so excited to bring you this collab. Becky (SAHM Scrapper) asked if anyone was interested in collaborating on a kit. I love her stuff and jumped at the chance to work with her. She came up with the great idea of doing a kit that was spring break themed, but focused on younger kids. I think this is my new favorite kit I've designed.

My CT has been really busy and having a ton of fun with this kit. I've got a lot of layouts to show you, so I'll be giving you a few each day to give you an idea of what you can do with the kit. Some layouts are made only of my portion, some include both my stuff and Becky's portion. There's a special twist with this kit, each download will only be available for 24 hours. Becky and I have set up our posts to go live at the same time (noon CT, 11am MT). Today you'll get the papers. Tuesday the elements will be available; Wednesday you can get the alphas. Be sure you stop by each day to get each part.

Here's a preview of my portion of the kit.
And here is today's download, the papers. You get 12 papers total.
Download has expired.

And here is a preview of Becky's papers. Head on over to her blog to pick them up. Be sure to leave her some love too!
Come back tomorrow at noon (Central Time) for the elements. Have a great day and happy scrapping!

Buttercup, Part III

Happy Spring (or Fall, if you're in the Southern hemisphere)! Spring is absolutely my favorite season. Last week brought us mostly beautiful weather--temps in the upper 50s & low 60s (F) all week. LOVE spring--and the warmer temps!!!
My CT has had fun playing with this kit. Michele created this layout showcasing her son planting flowers.
And Cami has turned her layout into a QP for you. Head on over to her blog to grab it. Be sure ot leave her some love!
Here is this week's portion of the kit: three papers, seven elements, and the numerical portion of the alphabet. Be sure to pick it up by next Sunday because once part four becomes available, part three won't be.
Download has expired.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow when Spring Fun, my collab with Becky, becomes available. See you tomorrow!

The collab is called "Spring Fun" and here's a sneak peek:

Are you doing any spring cleaning? I am--including some cleanup in my store at Stuff to Scrap. I've decided to retire a couple of my old kits, Funky Grunge and Celebrate Love. They will be 50% off March 21-27 and then they'll be gone for good!

Welcome to my new CT members!

I received lots and lots of applications for my CT call. All of the applicants had great layouts. After a lot of time looking over (and being inspired by) the layouts I saw, four fabulous gals were asked to be a part of my team. Without any further ado, here are the four newest members of my creative team.

Becky
Becky is a 31-year old stay at home mom to 1-year old twins (a boy and a girl). She was a teacher before she decided to stay at home with her kids. She started paper scrapbooking in college, started card making and rubber stamping several years ago and became a demonstrator for a stamping company. Then several months ago she decided to take up digital scrapbooking and became addicted! She says, "I have the perfect subjects to scrapbook now and I scrapbook every moment I can get, especially during nap time!"

Jen
Jen is a 38-year-old mother of 3, mother-in-law of 1, grandmother of 2, and owner of an Aussie! She lives in the Twin Cities (Minnesota) area and has always lived in MN. She started digi-scrapping in 2005, then stopped due to no computer, and then when she began again at the end of 2008, was totally impressed and blown away by how the online digiscrap community had grown! In addition to scrapping, she loves to knit and read, and works full time as a church secretary.

Cami
Cami recently started digi scrapbooking but has paper craft/scrapbooked for 10 years. She made the switch when she found myself not scrapbooking because she didn't want to hassle of getting all my junk out just to put it away. She loves that she can save something walk away and come back to work on another project. She is happily married with 3 boys and a girl on the way.

Kimmy also recently started digi-scrapping and loves scrapbooking and stamping. She has been married for nine years and has two adorable littles girls (a 4-1/2 year old and a 2-1/2 year old). She has been an active member of her--in her words--"favorite store/community--Stuff to Scrap."

Welcome ladies! I'm so glad to have you on board!

Buttercup, Part II

Quick post this morning as it's a busy one around here. I'll be back later to introduce you to the new CT members.
In the meantime, here's some eye candy created using Buttercup for you.
Cami

And here is this week's portion: three papers, eight elements, and the second half of the alphabet. Be sure to pick it up by next Sunday, because once part three becomes available, part two won't be.

March's monthly kit: Buttercup

Are you ready for a new monochromatic kit? When I was thinking about what color I wanted to use in March, I had the hardest time deciding on a color. I finally decided on yellow--with a big vote of YES! from Juli--because (1) it's feeling a lot like spring here in Minnesota, and (2) March seems to bring out a lot of green kits to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. So, this month, you'll be collecting a kit called Buttercup that is filled with soft yellows and all sorts of fun embellishments and papers.
Here's a look at what my CT did with it.

Michele
And here is my layout, from one of my favorite cities in the world:Here's a preview of the entire kit that you'll be collecting this month:
And here is this week's portion of the kit. You get four papers, eight elements, and the first half of the alphabet. Be sure to pick it up by next Sunday because once part two becomes available, part one won't be. :)

Don't forget--if you're interested in being a member of my CT, you have until midnight Thursday to get your application in. Scrappers of all experience levels welcome!

Do you love blog trains?

Are you a fan of blog trains? I love hopping around to so many different blogs and picking up parts of a kit to make a gigantic mega kit. It can't get any better than that.

Come join Stuff to Scrap for our April blog train, Spring Picnic. You can see the wonderful palette below. It doesn't matter if you are a designer just looking to get some more traffic to your blog, or if you are a newbie designer looking to just branch out and have some fun.

Click HERE to go to the forum for more information about our Blog Train. We'd love to have you participate with us! See you there!

Lucky You

This month, the Stuff to Scrap designers came together to create a fun-filled mega kit, Lucky You. It has a St. Patrick's Day feel to it, but can be used to scrap so much more. The kit features not only green, but blue, dark brown, and gold and includes 57 papers, 87 embellishments, and 2 full alphas. Check out the previews below and click on the images to be taken to the store.

We also created a set of 12x12 QPs for you. The pages are sold separately.
And here is a layout I created using the kit. It was the perfect choice for my non-St. Patrick's Day pictures of Ireland. :)
