Great Outdoors blog train

Is it that time already? Where did July go?

Yep--it's (almost) August already which means it's time for the start of another great blog train from the forum members at Stuff to Scrap. This month's theme is "The Great Outdoors." July has been a very busy month and life has thrown some big, nasty curveballs my direction. I did manage to pull together an alpha for you though. I think it will go well with the other kits and mini-kits you can collect along in the blog train this month.

Below is the list of the rest of the designers taking part in this month's blog train. If someone doesn't have their portion of the train posted, please check back; we are spread out across the globe. Also be sure to snag the portions you want by the 15th. After that date, designers are free to put their portion in their store(s). My portion of the blog train will remain free until August 30. Happy collecting!

July Build a Kit at STS

It's the first of the month and that means a new set of Build a Kit minis from the Stuff to Scrap Designers. Each mini kit is priced at $1.99, so you can mix and match which ones you'd like. The flyer below gives you a sample of each designer's kit so you can see the possibilities.

My contribution this month is a mini kit called Halcyon. It's got a different feel to than most of the stuff I design. I thought it would be fun to play around with a different design style and see where it took me. My mini contains five papers (two patterned, three solid) and eleven elements. Check it out at the store!

Vintage Independence

This month, the designers at Stuff to Scrap came together to create a mega-kit called Vintage Independence. The kit is perfect for scrapping pictures from your holidays, visits to national monuments, and all sorts of other things. It's a huge kit: 83 papers, 119 embellishments, and 2 full alphas.

We also created a set of QPs. You can buy the pages on their own or get them FREE with a single purchase of $10.00 or greater.

Happy Canada Day!

Thanks for your wonderful response to the Boys & Girls of Summer kit. I'm so glad you've enjoyed it. I can't wait to see what create with it. You can post your layouts in the Stuff to Scrap gallery or on my Facebook fan page. If you missed any or all of the kit, it's available for only $2.00 at Stuff to Scrap until midnight MST Sunday.

I've got a couple more pieces of eye candy to share with you. I'd forgotten to post the layouts Michele and I created. Check 'em out!

My CT created a few additional goodies for you, too. Stop by their blogs to snag these goodies and leave them some love. The images are linked to their blogs.

Becky has an adorable flower border (used in my layout above) for you.
Ginger has created a cute 5x7 brag book page for you.
And Cami created an adorable cluster frame for you.

Have a great day and happy scrapping!
