How on earth is it (nearly) September already? It seems like just yesterday I was making my plans for the summer. Time really does fly.

August was another very busy month for me, but I was able to create an alpha that will go perfectly with all of this month's blog train contributions. I used a font called Black Chancery which I got at SearchFreeFonts.

August Color Challenge at STS

There are a variety of challenges each month at Stuff to Scrap, including a color challenge. When I get a chance, I like to create a mini. This month I loved the colors. My 13-year old niece has a shirt with these colors and her favorite saying lately has been "whatever." So, I created a mini-kit (6 papers, 11 elements) and called it "Whatever."

Makin' It Funky! & freebie

Howdy! It seems like forever since I've had a full kit to share with you. Life's been busy and I haven't had as much time to design as I'd like. Fortunately, I've got a new kit to show you (and a freebie for those who hang around until the end).

This week, I've got a new kit--a collab with Designs by Christi--to share with you. I came up with the color palette and she came up with the theme and I absolutely love it! It's called Makin' It Funky! and it's perfect for scrapping all sorts of pictures. Check out some of the layouts from my CT below. (I'll have more eye candy from them later in the week.)

August Build a Kit

A new month means a new palette of Build a Kit mini kits at Stuff to Scrap. There is a lot to choose from--20 mini kits this month!

 

My contribution is called Flower Power. The palette colors are exactly the same as a set of floral bedsheets I had when I was a little girl. Here's a preview of what I created. There are 6 papers (4 patterned, 2 solid) and 12 unique elements in all.

A couple of my CT members played around a bit with the kit. I love what they created!
