Autumn Blessings

It's (nearly) October and fall is definitely upon us here in the northern hemisphere. I have to say, fall is probably my favorite season. I love the changing leaves, football season, and the cool, crisp air.

This month's Stuff to Scrap blog train is called Autumn Blessings and features a great palette to help you scrap all sorts of pictures. I created a versatile polka dot alpha with a slightly beveled edge that coordinates well with kits the other designers are offering. For those interested, I used Shannon Bold in creating the alpha.

I've made the alpha available in two different formats: individual letters and contact sheets. In the first format, each letter/number/punctuation is its own file. In the second format, contact sheets, many of the letters are on one sheet. In this case, there are four contact sheets, one each for uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and punctuation. The alpha is the same in either case; which format you download is really a matter of personal preference.

Download has expired.

And here is a list of the rest of the designers taking part in October's blog train. If a designer doesn't have her portion posted yet, please check back. We're spread out across the globe. Also, be sure you grab each portion by the 15th of the month. After that date, designers are free to put their portion of the blog train in their store(s). My portion will remain free until 7:00 pm (CT) on October 31st when I post my November blog train contribution. Happy collecting!

Fall Carnival blog train

In addition to the Ahoy Matey! blog train, I'm also taking part in the bi-monthly mega blog train that includes more than 100 designers. The theme this time around is Fall Carnival.

You should have arrived here from Scrapbookizate.
These colors were so fun, I had to do something. My portion wound up being more carnival than fall, but with all the hectic stuff going on in my life lately, it only seemed appropriate! :) My mini-kit contains six papers and six elements. My portion will remain available until October 1.

Your next stop on the blog train is Darlene Designs. If you get lost along the way, you can go to Blog Train Headquarters. (You can also see a slideshow of all the blog train preview contributions.) Happy scrapping!
