It's a blooooog train!

A few days ago, one of the Stuff to Scrap designers suggested having a Trick or Treat bloooooog train. I've been really busy this past week (and battling a head cold), but I managed to whip up a little something for you. I think it will be perfect with all those great Halloween layouts you'll be creating. It's a black glittery alpha that includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and some punctuation.
Download has expired.

Here is the list of the rest of the designers taking part in the blog train. Be sure to gthe goodies soon--many are available for 24 hours only. (My alpha will be available until 5pm CT on Tuesday, November 1.)

Enjoy the treats and have a happy--and safe--Halloween!

Thanks again for all your comments about this collab. It's great to know so many people appreciate the work Kat and I have done to bring this to you.

Before I show you the alphas, I've got a couple more layouts to share with you. Tammy and Crystal, from Kat's CT, created these. Aren't they beautiful?

Today, Kat and I have alphas for you. My alpha is a classic one. It includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and punctuation. The preview below shows a purple background paper but that paper is not included in the download.
Download expired at 10pm CT Wednesday, October 19.

Wow!

Thanks for all your great comments and messages about the Harvest of Memories collab. I'm thrilled by the overwhelming response. I apologize that the there was a very brief period when the downloads were not available yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, I happened to be working from home yesterday and was able to get the files re-uploaded in very short order.

I've got some more great layouts to share with you. Michele, from my CT, and Jodi from Kat's CT created these beautiful layouts.
Today, you get the elements. There are a total of 42 unique elements in my portion (not all shown).
Download has expired.

Harvest of Memories collab, Day 1

Are you ready for a great collab?

A couple of months ago, Kat and I decided to join forces and create a fall-themed kit. I came up with a fun color palette and we we were off and running. What you'll see, over the course of the next few days, is a great kit with a world of possibilities. Both of us have included some boldly patterned papers and some softer ones as well. I think you'll get a lot of use out this. (And you could use this kit to complete the monthly challenge here on my blog.)

Over the course of the next few days I'll be showing you the layouts my CT has created. (If you'd like to be a member of the Shel Belle Scraps Creative Team, I'm currently having a call.) Up first: layouts from Ginger. She combined the kits to create some fantastic layouts.

I'll have more layout ideas for you over the next few days.

Before the preview of today's portion, remember: Each portion of the collab will only be available for free on our blogs for 24 hours. If you miss a portion, or would rather not have to come back each day to collect the entire kit (plus a bonus goodie later in the week), you can pick up the kit in the store for 50% off this week only. (The add-on is 50% off this week, too.)

Here's a preview of my papers. There are 16 papers in all: 10 patterned, six solids.
Downloads expired at 10pm CT.

And here is a preview of Kat's papers. Click on her preview to be taken to her blog for the download.

See you in 24 hours with the elements!

Want to get a free full-size kit?

Did you like the sneak peek?

I mentioned yesterday to check back today to learn how you could get the kit for free. Here are the details:

Beginning Sunday night at 10 pm CT, Kat and I will be posting a different portion of the kit on our blogs. We'll post the papers on Sunday, elements on Monday, and alpha on Tuesday. Our CTs will have special freebies for you on Wednesday, and there will be a special add-on for you from each of us on Thursday. Here's the really important note for you: Each portion will be available for free for 24 hours only. After the 24 hours is up, the downloads will be invalid.

So, mark your calendars, clear out some room on your hard drive, and get ready to download--this collab is awesome.

If you decide that you don't want to visit every day to get the next portion of the kit or if you miss a day, we'll have the kit on sale in the store at Stuff to Scrap for just $2.50 each. (A 50% savings.)

See you Sunday night for the first portion of the collab!

October BAK: Halloween Sweets

Halloween will soon be upon us. To help you scrap those photos and preserve those memories, the designers at Stuff to Scrap have created a number of great Halloween-themed paper packs, elements packs, mini-kits, alphas, and templates. What's cool about them is that we all used the same color palette so you can mix and match to your hearts content to build a kit (BAK) that includes everything you might want.

I created two BAK products this month. First, a set of cardstocks. This is a set of 16 cardstocks. Eight include glittered edges--so you can snazz up your pages--and eight are plain cardstocks.

The other product I created was a set of alphas that mix and match with the other BAK contributions. Each alpha includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and some punctuation.

As with previous months, we've got a special deal for you: Buy three or more and save 50%. Enter the discount code OCTBAK_BUY3_SAVEHALF at checkout to receive this special deal. Click on the flyer below to check out all of the fantastic October BAK products

Mystery Machine road trip

Are you ready for a mystery? This month, the theme for the Stuff to Scrap blog train is Mystery Machine. Here's a preview of all the goodies you can collect along the train.

I created a template for this month's blog train. (You may want to use is to take part in my new Layout Challenge.)
Download has expired.

Here is the list of designers taking part in this month's blog train. If a designer doesn't have her potion posted yet, please check back as we're spread out across the globe. Also, be sure to grab each portion by the 15th of the month. After the 15th, designers are free to put their portion of the blog train into their stores. My template will remain available free on my blog until November 1.

October 2011 Blog Train

Is it October already? Hard to believe there are only three months left in 2011!

October means it's time for the bi-monthly mega blog train. This month, there are over 75 designers taking part. We were all given the same palette and guidelines about what kind of products we could create but no theme. What's really nice about that is that each designer did her own thing with it. You'll find all sorts of styles in this blog train: rugged, vintage/heritage, romantic, child, etc. There really is something for everyone.

For this month's train, I created a versatile alpha. It has a slight beveled edge and texture as well as an outline to the letters. It's a full alpha--uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and punctuation.
The best part for you (besides that it's free)? No waiting for the download. That's right: You can download the files directly from my blog. The alpha comes in two formats. In the first format, each letter comes as an individual file. In the second format, you get contact sheets; simply use your selection tool to choose which letter you'd like to add to your project. Both downloads contain the full alpha; which format you choose is your preference.

Downloads have expired.

You may have arrived here from Eyeinspire. Your next stop of the blog train is Snips and Snails Designs. If you get lost along the way or would like to see a full list of designers taking part, you can always check in at blog train headquarters.
